Tripoli – A delegation from the National Center for Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management attended a meeting. This was the 24th session of the African Working Group for Disaster Risk Reduction (AWGDRR). The meeting took place in Burundi.
The center represented the North Africa region. It participated via a closed circuit. The African Union Commission and the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction in Africa organized this. The event used the Zoom application. It ran from March 25 to 27. This participation reflects the center’s commitment.
The center seeks to exchange expertise. It also aims to enhance international cooperation. This effort focuses on disaster risk reduction.
