Benghazi – The city of Benghazi will host the first Women’s Forum for the Authentic Libyan Jard. The event takes place on the third day of Eid al-Fitr. Al-Risala Company is organizing the forum. The Women’s Affairs Unit of the Benghazi Municipal Council is supervising the project. This initiative aims to revive cultural heritage. It also seeks to strengthen its presence among younger generations.
Nouriya al-Sharif serves as the head of the forum’s media committee. She stated that the event celebrates Arab-Libyan heritage. It honors the symbolism of the authentic Libyan Jard. This garment is a key legacy of Libyan society. It highlights the unique cultural identity of the nation.
The forum will be held at the Child Development and Creativity Garden. This location is next to Benghazi Park. The event runs from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
