Colombo – Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake stated on Friday. He said the country refused permission for two American military aircraft. They sought to land at a civilian airport earlier this month. He told Members of Parliament the United States had requested this permission.
The request was for the two planes to land. This was at Matala Rajapaksa International Airport in the country’s south. The requested period was from March 4 to 8.
