Syrte – The “Directory of Libyan Electronic Journals” (DOLJ) announced new ranking results. These results are from the second edition of the local classification. It covers peer-reviewed scientific journals. Sirte University showed significant progress. New journals entered the ranking. Some existing journals also improved their classifications.
The Sirte University Scientific Journal (Applied) directly entered Quadrant 2 (Q2). This is according to the announced results. Other journals improved their rankings. These include the Sirte University Journal of Humanities. The Journal of Economic Studies also improved. The Research Journal of the Faculty of Arts improved its ranking. It moved from Quadrant 4 (Q4) to Quadrant 3 (Q3).
The Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Science was also listed in Q3. The Journal of Future Studies joined the ranking in Q4. It is the newest journal in the directory. The Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Education maintained its Q4 classification.
This progress reflects Sirte University’s efforts. The university works to enhance scientific research quality. It also supports local academic journals. This aims to elevate the scientific level. It benefits educational institutions across Libya.
