ROME – Libya’s Foreign Minister, Najla Al-Mangoush, told the international coalition against ISIS on Monday that her country played a “prominent role” in curbing the influence of the terrorist group in the region; adding that battles in east, west and south of the country have cost Libyans their lives and properties.
Speaking during the coalition’s conference in Rome, the Libyan top diplomat also reiterated the need for enhancing security cooperation, sharing intelligence and cutting funding resources as means of combatting the resurgence of ISIS.
