Al-Asabaa – The Jendouba area is part of Al-Asabaa municipality. Two separate fires broke out there on Saturday. The fires caused material damage. No human injuries were reported. Siddeeq Al-Maqtaf is the director of the municipal media office. He told a WAL correspondent about the incidents.
Residents extinguished the first fire. This happened before fire brigades arrived. The second fire started inside a citizen’s home. National safety teams responded immediately.
They used two fire trucks to put out the fire. The damage was purely material. The affected house sustained varying losses. The area had been calm in recent days. This was prior to both incidents.
