The Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy announced the activation of two units at the Tobruk Gas Power Station. The second and fourth units entered service on Sunday. This step followed the provision of necessary fuel to operate the plant.
The Ministry stated that this progress resulted from official coordination. It involved discussions between Minister Awad Al-Badri and Interior Ministry Undersecretary Faraj Eqaim.
The Ministry noted that these units will contribute to grid stability. Their operation will also improve power supply throughout the eastern region.
