The National Development Agency continues to implement the Sirte–Sokna–Sebha (SSS) international road at a continuous pace, 24/7, in accordance with the highest international standards and specifications, as part of Libya’s Vision 2030.
This road is a vital artery connecting the Sirte Free Zone port in the north to the city of Sebha in the south, passing through several strategic areas. It will form a commercial and economic bridge that enhances transit trade between Libya and sub-Saharan countries, particularly Chad, Niger, and neighboring landlocked nations.
The project represents a significant step towards supporting regional economic integration and facilitating the movement of goods and merchandise from Libyan ports into the African heartland, contributing to the revitalization of trade and investment and the achievement of sustainable development in the areas through which the road passes.
