Al-Waha announces the commissioning of three new wells in the Al-Waha field. It also confirms the imminent addition of two more wells to boost production.

The Operations Department at Al-Waha Oil Company announced the successful commissioning of three new oil wells. This is part of the Al-Waha field development program. This supports an increase in daily crude oil production. It also enhances the operational efficiency of the system. The company’s media office confirmed this.

The company explained the work involved commissioning well Q-116. This occurred in October 2025. It has an estimated production capacity of 2,777 barrels per day. Well B-230 was commissioned in the same month. Its production capacity reached 1,038 barrels per day. Well Q-118 was also brought online in November 2025. Its daily production reached 1,239 barrels.

The company noted that these operations were carried out by purely national expertise. This involved a high level of coordination and integration. Departments included Operations, Drilling, Reservoirs, and Production. Supporting departments also assisted. This reflects the company’s technical readiness. It also shows its institutional harmony.

The company indicated that two more wells are expected to join the production system soon. This will achieve a significant increase in total production. It will also enhance its sustainability.

The company affirmed that this achievement is part of its continuous efforts. These efforts aim to develop oil fields and improve operational performance. This aligns with the strategic plans of the company. It also aligns with the National Oil Corporation. These plans aim to increase production rates. They also seek to enhance reliance on national competencies.
