Tripoli – The Head of the Audit Bureau, Khalid Shakshak, during his meeting yesterday, Monday, with the Egyptian Ambassador to Libya, Tamer Al-Hefni, discussed the status of Egyptian companies contracted to implement development projects in Libya.
The meeting included a discussion of ways to ensure the implementation of these projects in line with national legislation and governance requirements.
During the meeting, Shakshak emphasized the importance of the Bureau’s oversight role in protecting public funds and ensuring the effectiveness of spending, stressing the need for continuous coordination to serve the public interest of both countries.
