Sirt – Sirt Oil and Gas Manufacturing Company achieved additional accomplishments. These are in oil well drilling and development. This is part of its ongoing efforts. The company announced the successful completion of drilling. It also completed the horizontal well (C348-6). This well targets the Zaltan (L4) reservoir. The horizontal section exceeded 1000 feet. It achieved a flow rate of over 1500 barrels of oil per day.
The company recorded another success. This was with horizontal well (C344). It is located in the northern part of the field. Its horizontal section exceeded 1350 feet. It targets the Al-Hirash reservoir. Production rates reached approximately 500 barrels of oil per day. This enhances opportunities for broader development of this reservoir. This will occur in future stages.
In Al-Khair field, Sirt Company completed drilling its first horizontal development well. This well is (A6H-LP3D). It is the first since production began in 2021. It targets the Al-Bayda reservoir. It utilized guided drilling techniques. Test results showed encouraging production rates. These reached about 1070 barrels of oil per day. This is a significant addition to production. It confirms the feasibility of expanding this type of well.
Furthermore, the company successfully brought well (C71) back into production. This was in the Zaltan field. It followed hydraulic fracturing operations. It achieved a flow exceeding 950 barrels of oil per day. No water content was recorded. This is a positive indicator. It shows the efficiency of the operation and the integrity of the reservoir.
These new and reactivated wells contributed. They added approximately 4020 barrels of oil per day to production. This supports the National Oil Corporation’s plans. These plans aim to increase sustainable production. They also seek to achieve stability in supplies.
