Tripoli – The General Authority for the Social Solidarity Fund has announced the launch of the fourth phase of its national campaign to support patients with muscular atrophy in various regions of Libya.
In a statement, the Authority explained that the fourth phase includes providing necessary mobility aids for patients with muscular atrophy, such as electric wheelchairs, electric beds, wheelchairs, quad walkers, patient lifts, and other medical equipment, according to the needs of each case.
The Authority affirmed that this campaign is part of its ongoing efforts to promote the values of solidarity and social cohesion, and to provide psychological, social, and health care to muscular atrophy patients and their families, underscoring its humanitarian mission to stand by everyone who needs support and assistance.
The Authority noted that the campaign’s activities will continue in the coming days to cover all cities and regions of Libya through the Authority’s branches and offices spread across the country.
