Turkey has reservations about pulling troops from Libya but Russia has said it was willing to back a reciprocal withdrawal of foreign forces from the north African country, Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Friday.
World powers will push for sanctions against anyone who disrupts Libya’s political transition, their leaders agreed at a Paris conference on Friday aimed at ensuring the country sticks to a plan to hold elections in December.
Italian Deputy Foreign Minister, Marina Sereni, confirmed that the Paris conference on Libya will be held under joint Italian, German and French presidency.

The National Center for Disease Control in Libya (NCDC) reported on Tuesday that 609 people tested positive for COVID-19, marking 14 percent of the infection rate. The NCDC said that 8 others died of the virus, while 1,672 have recovered during the same reporting period.
