The Board of the High National Elections Commission held an expanded meeting chaired by Emad Al-Sayeh, in the presence of members Abubaker Murda and Abdulhakim Al-Shaab, and the directors of technical departments and sections, to review the level of technical and logistical readiness, according to the commission’s media office.
The meeting reviewed the preparations for holding the municipal council elections (Third Group – 2025), including the timeline for implementation stages, opening and updating the voter register, opening candidate registration, and identifying the necessary technical requirements to ensure the process proceeds according to standards of transparency and professionalism.
Emad Al-Sayeh stressed the importance of combined efforts from all departments and sections to complete the electoral process on its scheduled dates, emphasizing the commission’s commitment to the principle of transparency and enhancing public trust in the electoral process.
The meeting is part of a series of periodic meetings held by the commission’s board to follow up on the technical and administrative preparations related to upcoming electoral events.
