Tripoli Security: Death of a student in an altercation in Ain Zara and arrest of those involved

The Tripoli Security Directorate announced a fight. It involved several students. The incident occurred in the Ain Zara area. One student died from his injuries. The directorate confirmed the arrest of those involved. They were referred to the competent authorities.

The directorate clarified this via its media office. An security convoy patrol was on routine duty. They were operating within their jurisdiction. The patrol noticed a gathering of young people. Upon approaching, they found a person on the ground. The person had sustained severe injuries. His clothes were covered in blood. He was immediately transported to a nearby clinic.

The directorate added more details. The patrol pursued several individuals. These individuals tried to leave the scene. The patrol successfully apprehended them.

Initial questioning of the apprehended individuals revealed information. They were all students at the same educational institution. The fight stemmed from a dispute between them. One person attacked the victim. A bottle was used in the assault. This caused a serious injury. It led to severe bleeding. The bleeding ultimately resulted in his death.

The directorate indicated a report was filed. It was sent to the Ain Zara Police Station. The remaining individuals involved were tracked down. They were apprehended in coordination with security convoy members. The directorate confirmed that the suspects are in custody. They will be referred to the Public Prosecution Office. This action aligns with their jurisdiction.
