UNHCR welcomes transferring 59 migrants out of detention in Tripoli

UNHCR welcomes transferring 59 migrants out of detention in Tripoli
UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) welcomed the decision to transfer 59 migrants out of Ain Zara detention center in Tripoli, “following UNHCR’s advocacy with the Libyan authorities.”
“The group have been provided with medical aid, cash, and food assistance,” UNHCR in Libya tweeted on Tuesday.
“This year, UNHCR has helped move 188 persons out of detention,” according to the UN Refugee Agency.
