Benghazi – Marshal Khalifa Haftar Military City in Benghazi hosted a graduation ceremony on Thursday. It was for the second batch of personnel from the Commando Battalion. This battalion belongs to the 166th Infantry Brigade.
General Khalid Haftar attended the graduation ceremony. He is the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces. Also present was General Ayyoub Bousaif. Bousaif is the Director of the General Commander’s Office. General Abdullah Al-Thani also attended. He serves as the General Commissioner for Marshal Khalifa Haftar Military City.
The Media Office of the Armed Forces General Staff issued a statement. It stated that graduates underwent an intensive training program. The program included advanced commando and parachute training. Training followed the latest military standards and systems.
General Khalid Haftar praised the graduates during the ceremony. He noted their high military discipline and distinguished performance. These graduates are from the 166th Brigade. He commended the role of officer and non-commissioned officer instructors. Their efforts in preparing and qualifying students were significant. This contributes to enhancing the readiness of armed forces units. It also raises their efficiency to perform assigned tasks effectively.
