Zallat opens its doors to adventure tourism through Al-Haruj Rally

Zella – The first edition of the Haruj Desert Tourism Rally has launched. The event took place in Zella, southwest Libya. It aims to boost adventure tourism. It also highlights the unique natural features of the Haruj Al-Aswad region. The rally saw an enthusiastic atmosphere. Many adventure sports enthusiasts participated. Travelers from various Libyan cities also joined.

Abuzid Al-Qasi is the head of the rally. He told the Libyan News Agency that the event was organized. Its goal is to promote Zella as a promising destination. Zella is ideal for desert and adventure tourism. The event also showcases the region’s distinctive desert nature.

The launch ceremony was held yesterday, Thursday. Local and security leaders attended. Representatives from youth and sports authorities were present. Many enthusiasts of rallies and desert trips also joined. The opening ceremony included welcoming speeches. Dignitaries and elders of Zella delivered these speeches. They affirmed their support for such initiatives. These initiatives stimulate tourism. They also reflect the city’s civilized image.

Specialized teams, clubs, and groups participated. These groups focused on four-wheel-drive vehicles. They also specialized in tourist trips. Vehicles performed impressive displays. These were held in front of the starting platform. The displays showcased a spirit of competition and excitement. They successfully attracted the attention of attendees and visitors.

The rally head stated that this first edition is a true beginning. It paves the way for organizing larger events soon. He expressed hope that the event will support domestic tourism. It should also encourage youth. Youth can engage in organized and safe sports and tourism experiences.
