Minister of Interior of the Stability Government, Major General Essam Abuzriba, met with the Director of Sirte Security, Major General Ahmed Maadi, to discuss the security situation within the directorate’s jurisdiction.
According to the Ministry of Interior’s media office, the meeting addressed ways to support the Security Directorate by providing the necessary material and logistical needs, ensuring it can perform its security duties efficiently. They also discussed mechanisms to improve the efficiency of the directorate’s units and departments with the aim of enhancing their ability to maintain security and stability.
For his part, Abuzriba affirmed the ministry’s commitment to meeting the requirements of the Sirte Security Directorate and providing it with full support, stressing that protecting citizens and residents, combating crime, and consolidating the state’s authority are at the forefront of the Ministry of Interior’s priorities.
