The restart occurred in record time. Operations had ceased due to a complex technical malfunction. The unit’s production capacity reached 500 barrels of diesel daily after the restart.
This will help cover the field’s needs. The corporation stated the Zalla field diesel unit stopped in early March 2015. This was due to a technical malfunction. A team of engineers and workers recently undertook repairs. They completed the work quickly. They successfully overcame all technical challenges.
The National Oil Corporation Board of Directors praised these efforts. They highly valued the workers’ dedication. Their patriotism and creativity in finding technical solutions were also commended. This was achieved despite difficult conditions. These conditions included a shortage of spare parts.
