Nicosia, Cyprus | Egypt and Cyprus stressed the importance of removing foreign forces from Libya and ending negative foreign interference in the neighboring country. This came in a meeting between diplomats from Egypt and Cyprus that dealt with relations between the two countries and regional issues.

Athens, Greece | The Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives, chancellor Aguila Saleh, stressed the need to remove foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya, and to hold the Libyan presidential and parliamentary elections on time on December 24. This came during a meeting with the Speaker of the Greek Parliament Speaker Konstantinos Tasoulas.
