The Central Bank of Libya announced it began granting approvals for documentary credits worth $400 million starting this week, according to exclusive statements given to “Al-Masar” TV.
The bank confirmed that this coming Sunday, it will begin settling and granting additional approvals for documentary credits worth $1.5 billion, as reported to “Al-Masar” TV.
The Central Bank clarified that it will sell $1.6 billion to banks in the coming period, in addition to allocating $400 million for personal purposes and merchant cards, according to the same source.
