Sirte – A training course on the fundamentals of civil aviation security, targeting security agency personnel and airport administration staff, concluded today, Saturday, at Sirte Gulf International Airport.
The airport’s General Manager, Engineer Imran Faraj, stated to the Libyan News Agency correspondent that the five-day training course involved more than 55 trainees, who were divided into two training groups under the supervision of international instructors from the Civil Aviation Authority.
He added that the course aims to enhance the efficiency of the employees and bolster their readiness in the field of civil aviation security and safety, in line with approved international standards.
The implementation of this course comes as part of the efforts of the National Development Agency to develop the performance of national personnel and improve the security system within the airport.
