Sirte – The Director General of the National Development Agency, Mahmud Elforjani, discussed on Saturday with the Chairman of the Management Committee of the Great Man-Made River Water Investment Authority in the Central Region, Engineer Shuaib bin Sharada, the establishment of the largest olive farm in Libya in the city of Sirte.
The meeting focused on the visions, strategies, and quality standards upon which this promising agricultural and economic initiative will be built, which aims to support sustainable development and enhance reconstruction and agricultural renaissance efforts in the region, under the supervision of the National Development Agency and the patronage of the General Command.
This project is considered an important step in promoting national agricultural investment and achieving food security by utilizing the water resources of the Great Man-Made River in the Central Region.
