Sirte – Footballs meeting FIFA standards were delivered. They were given to sports teachers in schools. This took place in the Central Region. It is part of a program to develop school football. The program aims to enhance coaching efficiency for all age groups.
Mohammed Hamrana attended the handover ceremony. He is the head of the Libyan Football Federation’s Misrata branch. Mohammed Abeid, a member of the sub-federation, also participated. The event was held at Al-Suwaihli Sports Club in Misrata. Several sports and education officials were present.
One hundred sixty size 4 footballs were distributed. These balls were manufactured in Pakistan. They were given to school football teachers and coaches. The recipients are in the Central Region’s educational schools. This supports school sports activities. It also strengthens coaching skills among educational staff.
The School Football Committee clarified the initiative. Fathi Al-Mahashash chairs this committee, part of the Libyan Football Federation. The beneficiaries had previously attended a training course. The course took place days earlier at Al-Suwaihli Club’s lecture hall. They obtained a “D” coaching license during this course. This license is specifically for training youth players.
Mohammed Qurimida attended the handover ceremony. He is the Secretary-General of the Libyan Football Federation. Sulaiman Al-Malti, a member of the School Football Committee, also attended. Their presence supports school football development programs.
At the event’s conclusion, Mohammed Hamrana extended his gratitude. He thanked Al-Suwaihli Club management for their cooperation. Their help ensured the training course’s success. This course is part of a FIFA school football program. The program aims to develop coaching competencies. It targets education inspectorates in the Central Region.
