Benghazi – Libyan Foreign Minister Abdalhadi Al-Huaij announced on Thursday the successful release of several Libyan citizens. These citizens were previously detained in the Republic of Chad. The achievement resulted from efforts by the Libyan Armed Forces General Command and the Libyan Government. The Minister clarified this in a statement to the Libyan News Agency.
This success stemmed from diligent follow-up and continuous coordination with relevant parties. It also involved diplomatic communications between the Foreign Ministry and Chadian authorities. The goal was to ensure citizens’ safety and their swift return home. Al-Huaij affirmed the Libyan government’s significant focus on Libyan citizens abroad.
