The Sirte Reorganization Committee on Wednesday successfully recovered a plot of state-owned land in the Harawa area, east of the city, and handed it over to the owning authority.
The committee also demolished an illegal building that was erected on a gas pipeline in the Al-Amira area, east of Sirte.
These actions come under the directives of Major General Jamal Al-Amami, head of the Sirte Reorganization Committee, and are part of a comprehensive plan aimed at restoring urban discipline and protecting public property and vital facilities in the city and its suburbs.
Several official bodies participated in these efforts, including the Law Enforcement Department – Sirte branch, the Municipal Guard, the Agricultural Police, the Urban Planning Office, the State Property Authority Office, and the Sirte Land Registry, to ensure the integration of efforts and the effective achievement of its goals.
These steps reflect the committee’s commitment to urban reorganization and the protection of the public interest, thereby enhancing the stability of the urban landscape and putting an end to encroachments on state lands and vital facilities.
