Benghazi – An international African delegation honored Army Chief of Staff, First Lieutenant General Khaled Khalifa. They awarded him a Peace Prize. This took place during a meeting hosted at Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar Military City. A delegation from the Union of Private African Television Stations (UTPA) attended. Representatives from 12 African countries were also present. Minister of African Affairs, Counselor Issa Abdul Majeed, attended the meeting.
During the session, the international African delegation presented the Chief of Staff with the Peace Prize. This was in recognition of his efforts. His work includes combating illegal immigration and caring for migrants. He was also honored for fighting terrorism. The award further acknowledged the progress in training and equipping armed forces personnel.
