Translate the meaning exactly as is; do not make it clickbait or change the tone. Do not add or remove any information. Use standard English spelling for names and cities (e.g., use 'Al-Bayda' not 'Albayda'a'). Do not end the title with a period. Your response must contain ONLY the translated text. Title: "الاتحاد الإفريقي يدين الهجمات المسلحة التي استهدفت مناطق متفرقة في مالي ."

Yaounde – The African Union has condemned armed attacks. These attacks targeted various regions in Mali, including the capital, Bamako. The Union expressed deep concern over the deteriorating security situation in the country. In a statement, the Union noted it is following the latest developments with concern. It reaffirmed its categorical condemnation of these assaults.

These assaults threaten civilian security and state stability. They also pose a direct danger to lives. Earlier, the Malian army announced attacks carried out by armed groups. These attacks targeted several military sites nationwide.

This included the capital, Bamako. Local media reported the attacks occurred in the early morning hours. Violent clashes and explosions accompanied them in several areas. Targets included the strategic Kati camp. The vicinity of Modibo Keita Airport in Bamako was also affected. Cities like Kidal and Gao in the north were targeted. Ségou in the central region was also hit.
