Sebha – Republic Bank held a celebration thursday. It marked the opening of a new branch in Al-Raqiba municipality. This is part of its plan to enhance banking services. The goal is to bring services closer to citizens across the nation. Ali Abu Salah, Chairman of the Bank’s Board, attended the celebration. Nuri Abu Aflagia, the General Manager, also participated. Directors of the Southern Region branches were present. Mayors from the region’s municipalities joined. Department managers from the Central Bank of Libya’s Sebha branch attended.
The manager of Al-Raqiba Republic Bank branch was there. Members of the Al-Raqiba Municipal Council participated. The Director of Ubari Security Directorate also attended. Dignitaries, elders, and a large crowd of residents were present. Several speeches were delivered during the ceremony. Speakers expressed joy at the new branch opening. This banking institution will contribute effectively. It will provide and bring various banking services closer to the public.
Participants then toured the bank’s facilities. They inspected the equipment and technologies provided. These provisions are expected to meet the banking needs of local citizens.
