Libyan Prime Minister, Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh, and British Minister for Middle East and North Africa Affairs, James Cleverly, discussed the December elections in Libya, foreign forces removal, and the two countries cooperation on green energy transition, on the sidelines of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland.
“Great to see Libyan PM at COP26. We agreed on importance of credible presidential and parliamentary elections in Libya on 24 December, removing all foreign forces and new opportunities for UK and Libya businesses to cooperate on Libya’s green energy transition,” Cleverly tweeted on Tuesday.
