Khaleej Al-Sidra – Bashir Al-Naas, Mayor of Khaleej Al-Sidra Municipality, conducted a field visit. He visited the Education Monitoring Office in Khaleej Al-Sidra. The purpose was to review work progress in municipal educational institutions. He aimed to identify major bottlenecks and challenges facing the sector. He was accompanied by the committee monitoring the education file.
A meeting was held during the visit. It included the Education Monitor. Directors of basic education, secondary education, and kindergartens were present. Directors of general reserves offices also attended. Representatives from the municipality’s educational facilities department were there. They discussed the reality of the educational process. Solutions for its improvement were explored.
Saad Ibrahim, Education Monitor for Khaleej Al-Sidra, stated this. He told Libyan News Agency that the Monitoring Office addresses various obstacles. These obstacles face the educational process. The Ministry of Education has been contacted. This is to obtain permission to contract teachers. They are needed in specialties with a significant shortage.
He added that the Monitoring Office received four educational schools this year. These schools are located across the municipality. Three kindergartens were established. An illiteracy eradication and adult education center was opened. Several educational institutions are still under construction and maintenance.
Saad Ibrahim affirmed that deficit-filling teachers greatly supported the educational process in schools. He emphasized the importance of continued coordination. This coordination is between the municipality and the Monitoring Office. It ensures the stability of the academic year. It also improves the quality of education.
