Tripoli – On Saturday, the Medical Supply Organization received a new shipment of kidney dialysis supplies imported from the German company «Fresenius Medical Care», one of the world’s largest companies specializing in manufacturing renal dialysis technologies and equipment.
The Organization explained in a statement that the arrival of this shipment represents an important step to enhance the health services provided to patients with kidney failure in various regions of the country, as it will contribute to ensuring the continuity of dialysis sessions and improving performance efficiency within specialized centers.
The statement added that the distribution process is carried out in direct coordination with the National Kidney Authority, which constantly monitors the conditions of medical centers to ensure the uninterrupted availability of essential supplies, guaranteeing the provision of safe and comprehensive therapeutic care for patients.
The Medical Supply Organization affirmed its commitment to securing a strategic stockpile of vital materials as part of a national plan aimed at strengthening the health system’s capacity to meet growing needs, especially in light of the challenges facing the health sector in Libya.
The Organization also stressed the importance of partnering with reputable international companies to ensure the supply of high-quality equipment that contributes to improving the medical services provided to citizens.
