Benghazi – In an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and optimism, the city of Benghazi hosted the “First Arab Media Conference,” bringing together an elite group of experts, media professionals, and aspiring youth to develop the country’s media landscape and present a true and different image of Libya.
On the sidelines of the conference, prominent media figure Mohamed Zeidan expressed his “great happiness” with the success of the event, emphasizing that its importance lies not only in being a professional gathering but also in the message it sends to the world. “We are happy because we are showing another face of Libya as a whole, and of Benghazi in particular,” Zeidan said, noting that the conference is an opportunity to break stereotypes and present a new reality.
Trust and Participation Reflecting Stability
Zeidan praised the significant trust that participants and guests placed in the organizers, as they accepted the invitation and came to actively participate in “painting this new picture.” He added that seeing guests moving freely around Benghazi is a source of pride and confirms the state of stability the city is experiencing.
According to Zeidan, the conference was not limited to changing external perceptions but also served as a genuine platform for professional development. He stressed that “interaction with experts always enriches the experience and contributes to creating a new generation of media professionals capable of raising the standards of the profession.”
A Message for the New Generation
