Over 1.35 million Libyans received first dose of COVID-19 vaccine – Health Ministry

1291 people test positive for Coronavirus, 14 others dead in Libya

The Libyan Health Ministry announced Monday that the number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 with the first dose in the country reached 1,359,693.

The number of those who received a second dose of the vaccine amounted to 187,274, the Ministry said in a statement.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Libya has reached 337,890, including 77,152 active cases and 4,617 deaths since the pandemic spread in the country in March 2020, according to the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC).

NCDC announced today recording 910 new cases and 11 deaths of COVID-19 in Libya.
