Rome – Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stated this. The United States and Israel decided to attack Iran. They did so without involving their European partners. This followed the failure of an agreement with Tehran. The agreement concerned Iran’s nuclear program.
Meloni added in statements on Monday. The situation will not improve. Iran must stop its attacks on Gulf states. She described these attacks as completely unjustified.
She clarified that it is foolish to believe. Events far from our borders do not concern us. Italy has made significant efforts. These efforts aimed for a serious agreement. The agreement was on the Iranian nuclear file. This is especially true as international law fluctuates.
The Prime Minister affirmed this. The Italian government is currently committed. It will provide assistance to thousands of stranded Italians. Many are stranded in Gulf countries. She maintains continuous communication with them. She also communicates with European partners. This ensures their safety.
