Putin addressed the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs conference. It was held at the “Russia” National Center. He highlighted assessments. These suggest the Middle East conflict’s repercussions. They are comparable to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He added, “Indeed, assessments exist. They indicate the events in the Middle East. These can be compared to the coronavirus pandemic.”
He affirmed, “The armed conflict in the Middle East increasingly worsens the current situation. It inflicts severe damage. This affects global logistics, production, and supply chains.”
He also said, “International events in recent years reveal a trend. Disruptions in trade and investment are increasing. International relations generally face more frequent disturbances. This has become a new reality.”
The Russian President also stated. Russia must be strong. This is to face the challenges of the current era.
Regarding Russian affairs, Putin affirmed. Russia had to take all necessary measures. This protected the populations of Crimea and Donbas.
