Tunis – The President of Sebha University, Dr. Masoud, and Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Mahrez, Director of the International Cooperation Office at the university, are participating in the fifth conference for presidents of Arab and Turkish universities, hosted by Tunis El Manar University on Thursday and Friday, October 10 and 11, 2025, in the Tunisian capital.
The conference is a high-level academic forum, attended by the President of the Association of Arab Universities, the President of the Turkish Universities Union, and the President of the Eurasian Universities Union, in addition to the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Tunisia, and a number of presidents of Arab and Turkish universities that are members of the participating unions.
The forum aims to enhance academic and scientific cooperation between Arab and Turkish universities and to discuss ways to develop higher education and scientific research.
It also aims to expand areas of partnership, academic, and student exchange, in line with global changes in the education sector, and to contribute to raising the quality of university outcomes and supporting cultural and knowledge-based communication between academic institutions.
