Libya’s Food and Drug Control Center announced the rejection of a shipment of chili and lemon flavored snacks from the Rose brand.
The center clarified that the product’s country of origin is the Arab Republic of Egypt, noting that it was rejected upon its arrival at the Musaid land crossing.
It added that the shipment, consisting of 1,606 boxes, was rejected for containing the banned color E102, stressing the continuation of monitoring to ensure consumer safety and prevent the entry of products that do not conform to specifications.
