Success of 20 surgical operations for joint replacement at Bin Sina Hospital in Sirte

Sirt – A specialized medical team at Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital in Sirt successfully performed 20 delicate joint replacement surgeries. The procedures were completed within 48 hours. Patients traveled from several Libyan cities. These cities included Sirt, Tripoli, Al-Jufra, Derna, Tarhuna, and Al-Khums.

The operations were supervised by Dr. Ali Al-Jarushi. He is the hospital’s General Manager. He also serves as a consultant for orthopedic and joint replacement surgery. Direct support came from the Medical Supply Agency. Medical and therapeutic services also contributed. Alpha Medical Company carried out the procedures. This was part of a specialized workshop. The workshop took place in the hospital’s orthopedic operating rooms.

Dr. Al-Jarushi spoke to a Libyan News Agency correspondent in Sirt. He stated that the operations met high-quality medical standards. They enabled patients to return to their normal lives. All procedures were successful. They were provided free of charge and safely.

He affirmed that the orthopedic medical team continues these operations regularly. They are supported by medical and assistant medical staff. This includes the anesthesia and operations departments. This reflects patient confidence in the hospital’s medical expertise. It also reduces the burdens of travel and treatment outside Sirt. It lowers the high costs patients incur. These expenses often come from private clinics or abroad.
