The Arabian Gulf Oil Company and the National Oil Corporation reviewed the achievements of 2025 and exploration plans for 2026.
The annual technical meeting, held on Monday at the company’s main building in Benghazi, included a presentation of the results of this year’s exploration programs, including increasing oil and gas reserves and enhancing production capacity.
It also addressed future plans for 2026, which include seismic survey programs and drilling exploratory wells in the company’s concessions.
The session included technical presentations by specialists from the geology and geophysics departments of both institutions, covering the results of exploratory drilling, production tests for oil discoveries, and the geological and geophysical studies conducted, as well as proposals for new studies aimed at developing future exploration programs.
