Tripoli – The Brega Oil Marketing Company announced Saturday that as of noon, about 6 million liters of gasoline had been distributed in the Greater Tripoli area. This is out of a planned total of 8.3 million liters for the day.
The company said this performance reflects the speed and efficiency of fuel receipt, transportation, and distribution operations, handled in coordination with distribution companies and supporting agencies. These efforts have helped supply fuel stations and improve the availability of gasoline across Tripoli in a short period.
Brega emphasized that these figures demonstrate the fuel sector’s ability to respond quickly to market demand when adequate shipments and supplies are available. The company extended its appreciation to port and warehouse staff, fuel tanker drivers, station supervisors, operations and inspection teams, the Arab Association for Fuel Transportation and Derivatives, distribution firms, and all field workers for their contributions.
Meanwhile, receiving and unloading of 95-octane gasoline shipments continue at the Port of Tripoli. The ongoing operations are part of Brega’s efforts to maintain smooth fuel receipt, storage, and allocation procedures for distribution companies.
On Friday, distribution companies withdrew around 8.26 million liters of gasoline from the port as part of the approved supply programs to fuel stations.
Brega reports that operational indicators confirm continued receipt, unloading, and storage activities at the port, while distribution companies place and collect their allotments according to scheduled plans. This reflects the ongoing functioning of all stages of the fuel supply system.
The company remains committed to its responsibilities for receiving, unloading, storing, and allocating fuel to distributors, coordinating closely with the National Oil Corporation and other relevant authorities to ensure uninterrupted operations in line with approved plans.
