Benghazi – Al-Kweifiyah Hospital for Chest Diseases and Tuberculosis received 17 citizens. They suffered from suffocation. This was due to a fire. The fire broke out in a residential building in Sidi Khalifa. This occurred on Saturday.
Dr. Ayoub Mohammed Abdullah told the “WAL” correspondent about the situation. Hospital medical teams immediately handled the cases upon arrival. First aid and necessary healthcare were provided. This followed approved medical protocols. All cases are currently under medical observation. Their health conditions are stable.
Dr. Ayoub praised the significant efforts. These were made by the National Development Authority. The authority actively transported the injured. Ambulances brought them to the hospital in a timely manner. This facilitated a rapid medical response.
He also noted the hospital continues its role in serving citizens. Medical and technical staff are ready. They handle various emergency cases. They provide health services around the clock.
He concluded his statement by wishing everyone safety. He emphasized the importance of adhering to public safety procedures. This helps avoid such incidents.
