The Deputy General Commander of the Armed Forces, General Saddam Haftar, inspected the sites of the company implementing the expansion projects for the eastern and western roads of the city of Sirte (the international highway), each extending for fifty kilometers. This is part of the projects of the National Development Agency and the National Link Project.
During the field tour, according to the General Command’s Media Office, General Saddam Haftar reviewed the implementation phases and completion rates of the two projects, stressing the importance of adhering to the specified timelines.
He emphasized the necessity of observing quality and precision standards in the implementation to ensure the improvement of traffic flow on these vital roads, expressing his satisfaction with the completed work he witnessed.
The two projects are part of the National Development Agency’s plans aimed at developing infrastructure and supporting development, modernization, and reconstruction efforts in various Libyan regions.
