Benghazi – The Libyan Fellowship exams for Otorhinolaryngology have begun. The exams are being held at Al-Sabri Polyclinic in Benghazi. Both practical and oral examinations were conducted. They took place in a distinct, well-organized atmosphere. The process was smooth and disciplined.
Mohannad Al-Zawi praised the efforts of the organizing committees and examiners. Al-Zawi is the General Director of Al-Sabri Polyclinic. He valued the high level of organization and precision. He confirmed that both practical and oral exams were conducted with high professionalism.
This reflects the development of the medical training system. He also extended thanks and appreciation to the doctors taking the exam. He wished them success in their academic and professional careers. This success will contribute to improving health services. It will also enhance national medical competencies.
Hussein Al-Khamri provided further details to the Libyan News Agency. He is the Vice President of the Scientific Council for Otorhinolaryngology at the Libyan Medical Specialties Board. He stated that 16 doctors took the exam. They came from various cities.
These cities include Al-Bayda, Benghazi, Ajdabiya, Khoms, and Tripoli. Al-Khamri noted the participation of international examiners on the committee. Among them was Consultant Badr El-Din Mostafa. He is the former Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University, Egypt.
He also chairs the Training Committee at the Arab Board for Health Specializations. A visiting examiner from the United Kingdom also participated. This step enhances assessment quality. It also promotes the exchange of scientific expertise. This exchange occurs among doctors and training centers.
