Benghazi – The Emergency Medicine and Support Center’s Benghazi office launched an initiative. It will provide comprehensive medical examinations for school students in Benghazi. Hajar Al-Majbari is the Director of the Media Department at the Emergency Medicine and Support Center. She told the Libyan News Agency about the initiative. It began with a specialized medical team visit. They went to Jawhar Model Private School. Comprehensive examinations were conducted there. These covered general illnesses. They also included internal medicine, ENT, and dermatology. The goal was to ensure student safety. Early diagnosis of any health conditions was also a priority.
Al-Majbari explained the initiative’s objective. It aims to identify various student health conditions early. This provides necessary care. It also prevents the worsening of health problems. Such problems could affect academic achievement. The initiative also raises health awareness for families and teachers. It informs them about common student conditions.
She added that the center plans to expand the initiative. It will include other schools in Benghazi soon. This strengthens its community role.
