Benghazi – Major General Salah Mahmoud Al-Khafifi received a delegation. Al-Khafifi heads the Agency for Combating Illegal Migration. The meeting took place today, Thursday. It was held at the agency’s headquarters in Benghazi. The delegation was led by Rodrigo Atienza, the Chargé d’affaires. Atienza is also the representative of the Philippines in Libya. An official delegation accompanied him.
The delegation included Leandro Manantantan, the Consul General of the Philippines. Doris, head of the Filipino community, was also present. Ayman Al-Wafi, the embassy’s legal advisor, attended. Mohammed Al-Sharif, a general protocol representative, was there. Haitham Al-Kayeb represented the Asia and Australia Department. He is from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
