Amman – The House of Representatives’ Health and Environment Committee participated on Saturday. They joined a free medical day for the Libyan community in Jordan. The event took place at Al-Istiqlal Hospital in Amman. Several members of the Jordanian Parliament’s Health Committee attended. Officials from the Jordanian Ministry of Health were also present.
The delegation included Hassan Al-Zarqa. He is the Vice Chairman of the House of Representatives’ Health and Environment Committee. Committee members Sabah Jumaa and Ali Al-Issawi were also part of the delegation. They toured the hospital. They observed the medical services provided during the day.
The event offered free medical consultations. Various examinations, tests, and X-rays were provided for Libyans. Awareness lectures were also organized. These lectures emphasized the importance of early detection. Early detection plays a role in disease prevention.
This participation supports health efforts for Libyan communities abroad. It also enhances medical cooperation. This cooperation is between health institutions in Libya and Jordan. It aims to improve healthcare for Libyan citizens outside the country.
