Tripoli – The Medical Supply Organization received a new shipment of dialysis machine supplies on Monday. The shipment included sixty 40-foot containers. It was supplied by the Swedish company Baxter to the central warehouses. This is part of an effort to boost the strategic stockpile and support health services.
In a statement, the organization said the shipment was coordinated with the National Kidney Disease Authority. The goal is to ensure essential medical supplies are available. This will cover the needs of health centers in various cities. It will help provide continuous treatment for kidney failure patients.
The organization noted that dialysis supplies are a vital part of the healthcare system. It affirmed its commitment to providing them regularly through a comprehensive plan. This plan considers quality standards and rapid distribution to health institutions.
The Medical Supply Organization will continue its strategic plan to secure necessary medical supplies. This supports the state’s efforts to develop the health sector and improve services for citizens.
Separately, the organization announced earlier on Monday that it began distributing a new batch of intravenous solutions. The solutions are being sent to health institutions in various Libyan regions. This step is part of the national strategic plan to support the healthcare system by providing essential medicines and supplies. It enhances health performance and contributes to a rapid response to growing medical needs.
