Minister of Technical Education discusses with the Mayor of Sirte Municipality ways to develop educational institutions

Sirt – The Minister of Technical and Vocational Education, Faraj Khalil, met with Mukhtar Al-Maadani. Mr. Al-Maadani is the Mayor of Sirt Municipality. They discussed technical and vocational education within the municipality’s scope.

The meeting took place at the Ministry’s headquarters. Its purpose was to monitor existing educational institutions. They also reviewed methods to enhance their efficiency. The discussion focused extensively on the status of intermediate technical institutes. It also covered higher technical institutes in Sirt city. Mechanisms for supporting these institutions were explored. They also discussed developing their academic and professional performance.

The meeting also addressed proposals for new intermediate technical institutions. These institutions would be established in the city. They aim to meet regional needs. They would also expand vocational education. Plans were made for organizing scientific and training programs. These activities will take place in Sirt soon. This will enhance the sector’s role. It will also develop the skills of national cadres.

During the meeting, the Minister praised the Mayor’s efforts. The Mayor of Sirt Municipality monitors developmental projects in the city. The Minister stressed the importance of continuous integration. Coordination between the Ministry and local authorities is crucial. This serves the public interest. It meets the aspirations of Sirt residents. They seek excellent educational and technical services.
